Today we are going to compare the best WordPress hosting we have tested, along with useful tips on how to choose the right hosting for your website.
We have compared the basic plans (the cheapest ones) between 5€ and 10€ per month, suitable for hosting WordPress sites or similar PHP applications (Joomla, Prestashop, etc.).
We have also added data that providers do not always publish, but that we consider essential, such as the amount of RAM available for PHP applications or the maximum number of PHP processes that can run in parallel.
What is the best cheap WordPress hosting?
First of all, all of the hosting options reviewed here are cheap WordPress hosting.
Although there is no “official” definition of cheap hosting, we can reasonably consider cheap hosting any web hosting service under 10€ per month.

In terms of quality and feature set, as you have seen in the comparison, all the hostings in the comparison are good.
The choice will depend much more on the specific features you need for your personal circumstances.
For example: if you are just starting out and, in addition, you are going to create a website for professional use, I would opt for Webempresa or SiteGround because they offer plans with WordPress support. This way you will be covered for any problem, even if it is not a hosting problem, but a WordPress problem.
If you have some fluency with WordPress and its technical side you can get a similar level of service for a little less money with Raiola Networks, but without WordPress support.
And if you just want to try the experience of creating a website, but still do not have clear ideas about your project and if you will continue on this path, you may want to prioritize the money that will allow you to save the initial offer of Hostinger.
In any case, I insist: all four options are good, they just have differences in their service offer (check the tables of the comparison to see the concrete differences).
Our recommendation
Our recommendation, valid for 99% of the cases, I will tell you to hire the domain and hosting together and in one of these three providers: Webempresa, SiteGround or Raiola Networks.
These three are the options with the best quality/price ratio that we can recommend, they are in Spanish, their support is excellent and also helps you with technical problems in WordPress, they take great care of security and include a free domain for the first year.
And in all these providers you have important discounts for the first contract.

If you have a small project without much traffic or simply do not have a clear project yet and just want to “play around” spending the minimum, but without falling into a bad service, I highly recommend Hostinger.
